Under-sink 5-stage RO system with booster pump and 3-gallon tank - 50 GPD, standard 10" cartridges
2-year warranty as standard, excluding consumables
| Stage | Cartridge | Rating | What it does | Change every |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | PP spun fibre | 1 µm | Removes larger suspended particles | 4–6 months |
| 2 | Granular carbon | 5 µm | Removes organics, chlorine, odour and turbidity | 6–12 months |
| 3 | Block carbon | 1 µm | Takes out what stage 2 leaves behind | 6–12 months |
| 4 | RO membrane | 0.0001 µm | Removes bacteria, heavy metals, dissolved matter and salinity | 12–24 months |
| 5 | Inline carbon | 5 µm | Polishes the taste of the treated water | 6–12 months |
Five filters in series and a 3-gallon storage tank, for a dedicated drinking-water tap in the kitchen, office or restaurant. Stage one is a PP spun-fibre sediment cartridge, stages two and three are granular and block carbon, stage four is the RO membrane, which removes bacteria, heavy metals, dissolved matter and salinity, and stage five is an inline carbon that polishes the taste. A diaphragm booster pump keeps the membrane working on low mains pressure, and the system uses standard 10" cartridges that are easy to find and change. It is designed for mains (municipal) water, with an inlet pressure of 1.0 to 3.0 bar and inlet TDS up to 250 ppm. On a well or borehole, treat the supply first.
